Luz Castineiras is teaching a beginner series and intermediate series in Berkeley, starting Wednesday, January 8th!
This dance class is taught using the terms “leaders” and “followers” and is inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people.
Wednesdays, January 8th, 15th, 22nd, & 29th
7:00-8:00 pm beginner class
8:00-8:30 pm practica
8:30-9:30 pm intermediate class
9:30-10:00 pm practica
The practicas are included with the classes. Stay, dance, and ask questions! Intermediate students are welcome to arrive at 8:00 to practice together with the beginners.
$80 for a four-week series (beginner or intermediate)
$25 general admission (single class)
$15 student with ID (single class)
Drinks are for sale at Morgan’s Bar and Lounge, across the hall from the ballroom. All ages are welcome in the dance classes.
