In April, Diego Lanau and Alejandra Saravia teach a beginner series and intermediate series. If you are a total beginner, we recommend that you sign up for all four dates in April. The beginner class is geared towards total beginners, but is open to everyone who would like to work on their fundamentals. Diego and Alejandra teach the foundational moves of Argentine tango. No partner necessary</p>

The beginner series is geared towards total beginners and people who have been dancing tango for less than six months. </p>
These dance classes are taught using the terms "leaders" and "followers" and are inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people.</p>
The practicas are included with the classes. Stay, dance, and ask questions!</p>

Drinks are for sale at Morgan’s Bar and Lounge, across the hall from the ballroom. All ages are welcome in the dance classes.</p>
On Wednesday, April 2nd, the class will be held in the drawing room (first floor). All other classes will be held in the ballroom (second floor).</p>
We are a 10-minute walk from Downtown Berkeley BART. For bike parking, use the bell to enter through the service entrance, and go straight to get to the back courtyard. No parking in the City Club lot. Extra parking is available for $2 per hour at the Ellsworth Structure at 2337 Haste St.</p>
